The Lanzhou Chengdu crude oil pipeline is 878km long to alleviate the shortage of fuel supply in Southwest China, which is short of crude oil resources. The pipeline will transport crude oil from oilfields in Northwest China and imported from Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan. The product oil pipeline connecting Lanzhou and Chongqing supplies about 70% of the product oil in Southwest China. Changqing Oilfield Hohhot crude oil pipeline double track is the second long-distance high-pressure natural gas pipeline laid in the same direction on the basis of Changqing Oilfield Hohhot natural gas pipeline to meet the increasing gas demand in Ordos, Baotou, Hohhot and the central and western regions of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
